Tanisha Nalavadi

Product Leader at Abnormal AI

Tanisha Nalavadi is a Product Leader at Abnormal AI, where she leads product for the company's identity threat detection portfolio - including Email Account Takeover detection and SaaS Identity Threat Detection and Response. Her work sits at the intersection of behavioral AI and identity risk: building the detection systems that recognize when an account has been compromised and the response workflows that contain the damage. She partners directly with CISOs and security teams at some of the world's largest enterprises to turn emerging identity-based attack patterns - from adversary-in-the-middle phishing to MFA fatigue and OAuth consent abuse - into shippable detection coverage.

Before moving into security, Tanisha led integrations product at Merge API, where she built and scaled a system of 100+ enterprise integrations as lead for the ATS and Ticketing integration categories, and drove the end-to-end launch of a new Data Warehouse category that unlocked $6B+ in TAM. She also forged partnerships with major API providers like Workday, UKG, and iCIMS. That grounding in integration architecture and identity data now underpins how Abnormal ingests signal across identity providers like Okta, Microsoft Entra, and Ping to model normal behavior and surface the abnormal.

Prior to that, on Microsoft's Azure Networking team, Tanisha led product for a core networking service operating at global scale - striking CDN partnerships with Akamai and Fastly to enable zero-dollar data transfer for mutual customers, and designing a flat-rate "all-you-can-eat" bandwidth pricing model that gave customers predictable data transfer costs. Tanisha holds a Bachelor of Computer Science from Duke University.
