As cybersecurity coordinator to President Barack Obama, Michael led the nation’s cybersecurity strategy and policy efforts from 2012 to 2016 and has maintained a pivotal role leading the government’s response to the most prominent cyber incidents. Recognized as one of the world’s top cybersecurity experts, he specializes in managing cyber risk to critical infrastructure systems. As president and CEO of Cyber Threat Alliance, Michael leads a team of cybersecurity giants including Cisco, Fortinet, McAfee, and Palo Alto Networks to improve information sharing about cybercrime.
