Alex Blinov is a Threat Intelligence Analyst at Abnormal AI, where he focuses on threat intelligence, account takeover (ATO), and detection engineering. He is responsible for threat hunting, detection development, and intelligence research, driving improvements in detection accuracy, identifying emerging attack vectors, and strengthening coverage against evolving threats.

Prior to joining Abnormal, he worked in cloud incident response, detection engineering, and cybersecurity research and consultancy. Alex specialises in ATO, initial compromise vectors, and the identification of new attack techniques, applying a highly analytical and detail-oriented approach to security research.

He holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute. Outside of work, Alex enjoys heavy metal, computer games, jogging, and spending time with cats.
