If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”) requires us to provide you with additional information regarding your rights to your “personal information.”

Information such as inferences drawn about you based on other personal information we collect, such as preferences, interests, characteristics, behaviors, and attitudes.

Information such as identity documents, to the extent we may need to identify you to exercise a data subject access request.
Your additional California rights:
If you are a California resident, some additional rights may be available to you under the CCPA, including the following rights:
  • to know what personal information is being collected, for what purpose, and the sources from which personal information is collected, and the categories of recipients of your personal information.
  • to request deletion, correction, and access to your personal information.
  • to know what personal information is being "sold" or "shared", for what purpose, and the categories of recipients of your personal information.
  • to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information.
  • to limit the use of your sensitive personal information.
  • to not be discriminated against for exercising one of your CCPA privacy rights.
Please note: not all of the above rights are absolute. There may be occasions when we cannot carry out your request however, we will always provide an explanation where this is the case. You will not be discriminated against for exercising any of your privacy rights under the CCPA.
Sale and sharing of personal information:
While Abnormal does not ‘sell’ personal information in exchange for money, we may share personal information with the third parties that provide cookies on our Sites to display advertisements that are selected based on personal information obtained or inferred over time from your activities across businesses or distinctly-branded websites, applications or other services (otherwise known as ‘targeted advertising’ or ‘cross-context behavioral advertising’), for personalization features, for tracking and analytics. The categories of personal information impacted in the preceding 12 months may include:

How to Exercise Your California Privacy Rights:
Requests to Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing: You may exercise your right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information at your web browser level by:
  • using Cookie Consent pop-up.
  • Clearing your cookies at any time will undo your saved preferences. To re-save preferences, please return to our Cookie Consent pop-up after clearing your cookies. Also, your preferences may not be saved if you are using private mode in your web browser.
  • turning on and using the Global Privacy Control (GPC) in a browser or browser extension that supports such a signal. If you choose to use the GPC signal, you will need to turn it on for each supported browser or browser extension you use. We may need to verify your identity to process your request, and we reserve the right to confirm your California residency. If you wish to designate an authorized agent to request on your behalf, we will need to verify both you and your agent. Your agent must also provide a valid power of attorney or other proof of authority acceptable to us in our sole discretion. We cannot process your request if you do not provide us with sufficient detail to allow us to understand and respond to it. In certain cases, we may be permitted by law to deny your request.
