Kroenke Sports & Entertainment is a media and entertainment company. We own four sporting teams in the Denver Metro area, as well as a branch that runs the Ball Arena, Dick's Sporting Goods Park, and Paramount Theatre.
Before Abnormal, the biggest challenge that we faced in our organization was spoofing and business email compromise. One of our vendor partners, Optiv, brought up Abnormal. We had approached them, asking them to help us find a way out of our current security email gateway because we weren't happy with the performance.

One of the things that we love the most is the fact that it only took 10 minutes to set up. Once we dialed it into the API of our email solution, it learned the organization pretty quickly.
The Abnormal partnership has started off very strongly in part because of the presale support that we had, the proof of value, the ease of implementation, all of the support that we got during the introduction of the product, and just the ease of navigation through the dashboard and the post-sale support.
It stands out because of its efficacy, the innovative approaches by using data as a driver for how you can put it together and identify bad, malicious messages. I’m a big fan of Abnormal because it's given my people a lot of their time back.

I was spending the majority of my time combing through emails and then releasing them. After bringing Abnormal into the fold, I've been able to free up, I'd say 75% of that time, and really focus on other aspects of cloud security. We've been able to partner with Microsoft and Abnormal to provide a very robust system for the employees to get their job done and, on top of that, stay secure.
We run a pretty robust charities department. Abnormal security was able to pick up that we hadn't corresponded with this vendor in quite a while, that this wording was a little bit off. We were able to stop the disbursement of tickets that were going out to this fake charity.
We want to protect our employees as well as our customers who come into our arenas and our sporting venues. We wanna make sure that they have the best time that they can have at these events. And Abnormal has really allowed us to do that.
