Joe Morrissey

Joe has 10 years of experience working in the information security field with his current role being Director of the Cyber Security Incident Response Team at his organization. Throughout his career, he's had a passion for operational security work that focuses on leveraging the skillsets and strengths of his team. Joe has spent time as a SOC analyst, Threat Responder, Forensic Analyst during Security Incidents, and Leader of multiple operational security teams. In his current role as a leader of a CSIRT, his time is devoted to preparing his team for large-scale security incidents, managing the Threat Hunting program, and supporting investigative functions at his organization including SOC and Forensics investigation escalation. Joe currently holds multiple GIAC certifications including GCIH, GSTRT, GCIA, GNFA, GCFE, GCTI, and GOSI.
