AI Meeting Prep Bot - Slide Generation Arrives (6)
In the sixth installment, AI Native PM Haren Bhatia extended the AI Meeting Prep Bot beyond research and qualification. This release introduces automated slide generation and deeper insights into past opportunities, giving AEs faster prep and richer customer narratives. What began as a simple prep engine is now producing customer-ready material. It also marks a shift toward providing reps not just information but also artifacts they can use directly with customers. That distinction matters in fast cycles where storytelling can influence momentum as much as technical detail.

Past Deals Missing from Prep
Reps flagged a recurring problem: the bot gave strong forward-looking context but lacked historical perspective. They had to stitch together old opportunities and then manually convert insights into slides at the last minute. That friction showed up in three ways:
Past customer history was buried across Salesforce notes and emails.
Slide customization took too long for mid-market AEs with heavy volume.
Missing account-level detail meant many decks felt generic.

Centralized Slides and History
This release closes that gap by pulling prior opportunities into the briefing and generating slide templates that reps can copy directly into their decks. It pairs context with production-ready assets.
Surfaces past closed opportunities, including drivers, reasons for wins, and areas for improvement.
Auto-generates slide modules: account context, product interest, key contacts, proof points, and industry wins.
Refactors the UI for clearer history and faster scanning.
Adds backend logic to enrich missing email or SEG data using MX and DMARC records.
Expands proof of value with anonymized quotes from similar accounts.

As Haren explained during the demo: “It tells us who the biggest driver was, why we closed them, and how we can continue to improve on it.”
The result is a workflow where reps open their briefing, grab the slides, and drop them into their meeting deck without rebuilding anything from scratch. For mid-market AEs juggling volume, that is a material step up. Because the output follows a consistent structure, it reduces the variance in how reps present Abnormal’s value across different accounts.

Better Storytelling, Less Manual Work
This update deepens the bot’s utility. It does not just prepare AEs. It equips them to present. Reps now save meaningful time while showing up with sharper, more tailored materials.
Reduces weekly prep by automating slide creation and historical research.
Gives AEs differentiated customer-facing content rooted in prior wins.
Improves message consistency by standardizing what good account storytelling looks like.
Incorporates verified data even when Salesforce fields are incomplete.
The next step is expanding the slide modules with logo-ready sections and richer competitive proof points. The team is also exploring ways to streamline edits so reps can tune slides to the tenor of each meeting.
Users Becoming Fans
A theme emerged in early feedback. The slides make the bot feel real. One sales leader estimated it saves him four hours a week, even though he is not an AE. Another early user who once dismissed the tool now says it has become part of his daily workflow. That shift signals cultural lift. AEs are treating AI tools not as experiments but as partners that help them show up sharper.
As more teams adopt the slides, the Prep Bot continues its evolution from a prep assistant into a complete customer-facing enablement engine. It not only gathers insight. It packages that insight in ways that elevate how Abnormal shows up in every meeting.
Problem
Reps lacked fast access to past opportunity insights and spent time manually customizing customer-facing slides for meetings.
Solution
Prep Bot now surfaces historical deal context and auto-generates editable slides AEs can paste directly into their decks.
Why It's Cool
It turns buried deal history into ready-to-use slides, reducing prep time and sharpening customer-facing storytelling.
