Akanksha Saxena

Akanksha Saxena is an Engineering Manager at Abnormal AI, leading engineering for the Security Posture Management product line. Akanksha's work is focused on providing cutting edge security prevention capabilities aimed at preventing the most recent and complex cyber security attacks. Before Abnormal, Akanksha was Senior Engineering Manager at Zalora, leading Search and Payments across SEA, where she delivered secure, high-availability payment systems and a conversion-optimized search engine. Earlier, she spent seven years at PayPal leading security compliance initiatives across APAC — developing the systems that governed how identities were validated and how policy exceptions were handled at scale, including EU CSSF (KYC/CIP) implementation and federation jurisdiction policy across India, Japan, and third-party markets. She also holds patents around identity verification. Earlier in her career at Cisco, she focused on building secure network configuration management systems for the enterprise data center. Prior, Akanksha led research around wireless sensor networks at the National University of Singapore. She holds an MTech in Information Technology from IIIT-Bangalore.
