Vivek Guruvayurappan

Vivek Guruvayurappan is an Engineering Manager at Abnormal AI, where he leads engineering for ingestion and SaaS integrations within the Abnormal Data Platform organization. His work focuses on building the data integration and ingestion systems that bring high-fidelity signals from SaaS and identity platforms into Abnormal’s AI-driven security products — enabling faster onboarding of new sources, richer detection context, and lower-latency threat detection and response. Under his leadership, the team has helped expand identity and SaaS signal coverage, improve freshness of critical telemetry, and accelerate how quickly new integrations can be brought online. Before Abnormal, Vivek held engineering leadership roles across cybersecurity and enterprise cloud SaaS platforms at Ivanti, Thermo Fisher Scientific, and Eka Software Solutions. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering and an MBA in General Management.
