Customers with Messaging Security can now manually delete malicious Microsoft Teams messages directly from the Threat Log. This gives you admin control to remove threats across Teams channels and direct messages.
To remediate a malicious message in Teams:
Go to Threat Log
Locate the malicious Teams message
Click Select Remediation Options
Select Block, then click Remediate to delete the message from Teams
What happens next:
Recipients and channel participants see a tombstone icon with the text, "This message has been deleted.”
The sender sees that their message is blocked.
This new capability helps reduce exposure from post-delivery threats and enhances visibility and control across Microsoft Teams.
Note: To access this capability, new and existing customers must complete the new One-click Integration for Microsoft Teams.
